Come discover various roasting methods, a new twist on pumpkin soup, an amazing agrodolce salad, and a light pumpkin almond cake in this culinary demo by Ariane Daguin. Enjoy a taste of each preparation and leave with the recipes and techniques for recreating these delicious fall dishes. Ditch the canned stuff and utilize the pumpkins and winter squashes that are plentiful at farmers' markets this time of year!
Ariane Daguin was born into a world of great food in Gascony, in the Southwest of France. She was an expert at deboning ducks, rendering duck fat, preparing terrines and cooking the game birds her grandfather hunted by the time she was ten. Ariane launched D’Artagnan in 1985 as the first purveyor of meats in the U.S. devoted to natural, sustainable and humane production.
